Hotel Information

We're so excited to spend time with you all in San Clemente! The Bride &amp; Groom will be staying at a hotel by the San Clemente Pier. There are several boutique hotels by the pier, each with limited capacity. We recommend booking a room early so we can all be close together for the weekend. We understand not everyone will be able to find accommodations by the pier, and recommend the Holiday Inn Express, only a couple of miles away, as an alternative.

Travel

San Clemente has a free trolley system that will operate Friday through Sunday on the weekend of our wedding. You can find route maps on the city's trolley website <a href="https://www.sanclemente.gov/198/San-Clemente-Trolley" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a>. Trolleys are free to ride and stop every 15 to 25 minutes. Hours of operation are as follows:- Monday through Friday: noon to 10 pm- Saturdays: 10 am to 10 pm- Sundays: 10 am to 8 pm

The San Clemente Pier is a historic landmark that was originally built in 1928 as part of Ole Hanson’s development project to promote tourism in the area.  Visitors can enjoy fishing, walking or biking along the beach trail, or simply relaxing on the beach.

Overlooking the ocean and San Clemente pier, Casa Romantica was built in&nbsp;1927&nbsp;as the family home of San Clemente's founder, Ole Hanson.&nbsp;The Spanish Colonial Revival mansion was designed by architect&nbsp;Carl Lindbom and is now a cultural center and historic landmark.&nbsp;

Downtown San Clemente, also known as "Old Town," is&nbsp;a historic district centered around Avenida Del Mar and El Camino Real.&nbsp;It's a charming area filled with Spanish-style architecture, boutique shops, art galleries, restaurants, cafes, and cultural attractions.&nbsp;Key features include the San Clemente Community Center, a vibrant dining scene, and its walkable proximity to the historic wooden pier and other beaches.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Downtown San Clemente

The Beach Trail is a popular 2.3 mile long trail connects North Beach to Calafia Beach with stops along the way at the Pier and T-Street.&nbsp;It's very popular trail frequently used by walkers, joggers, cyclists, and dog owners.

Nestled in the hills of&nbsp;San Clemente, Talega Golf Club sits above the "Spanish Village by the Sea," and is a challenging, yet gorgeous golf course in an incredible setting.

It's a monument to California’s multi-cultural history and displays a permanent collection of artifacts that embrace the heritages of the Spanish Padres, Native Americans, Mexican and Europeans while highlighting the Mission as a self sufficient community and its historical significance as a center of agriculture, industry, education and religion as well as its role in California becoming a state.&nbsp;

Of all the Dana Point beaches, Doheny State Beach is the most iconic. Long before Dana Point became a town in 1989, surf enthusiasts loaded up their cars and parked directly on the beach for a day of catching waves, sunbathing and beach bonfires.
